Read: Genesis 6:9-22 (NIV) "This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God. Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham and Japheth. Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight and was full of violence. God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways. So God said to Noah, 'I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out.'"

Meditate: Noah's obedience to build the ark is a testament to his alignment with God's instructions. Despite facing ridicule and disbelief from others, Noah chose to follow God's plan for the salvation of his family and the animals. His unwavering obedience was born out of his faith in God's word, even in the face of a seemingly impossible task. Noah's actions reflected his deep trust in God's promises.

Pray: "Dear Heavenly Father, as I consider Noah's steadfast obedience, I'm reminded of the importance of aligning my actions with Your commands. Just as Noah trusted You and followed Your instructions, grant me the strength to obey Your Word even when the world's values differ. Help me to overcome doubts and challenges, knowing that Your plans are perfect. Give me the courage to stand firm in my faith, just as Noah did. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
