Read: Genesis 37:12-36; 39:1-23 (NIV)

"Now Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers they hated him even more. He said to them, 'Hear this dream that I have dreamed: Behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and behold, my sheaf arose and stood upright. And behold, your sheaves gathered around it and bowed down to my sheaf.' His brothers said to him, 'Are you indeed to reign over us? Or are you indeed to rule over us?' So they hated him even more for his dreams and for his words. Then he dreamed another dream and told it to his brothers and said, 'Behold, I have dreamed another dream. Behold, the sun, the moon, and eleven stars were bowing down to me.' But when he told it to his father and to his brothers, his father rebuked him and said to him, 'What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall I and your mother and your brothers indeed come to bow ourselves to the ground before you?'"*

Meditate: Joseph's life is a remarkable example of unwavering trust in God's plan. Despite being sold into slavery by his brothers and facing false accusations that led to imprisonment, Joseph consistently aligned his actions with God's purpose. His trust in God's sovereignty allowed him to rise above adversity, eventually becoming a key figure in Egypt. Joseph's story reminds us that even in the darkest moments, trusting God can lead to incredible alignment with His plan.

Pray: "Dear Lord, as I reflect on Joseph's life, I am inspired by his unyielding trust in Your sovereignty. When faced with trials and hardships, Joseph's faith remained steadfast. Grant me the same level of trust, that I may align my actions with Your plan, even when circumstances seem challenging. Help me to trust in Your purpose for my life, knowing that You can use every situation for Your glory. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
